A massive 300 pound black bear was spotted in a tree, behind a hotel in New Britain, Connecticut over the weekend.
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) were on the scene shortly, setting up a net to break the bears fall. It took two tranquilizer darts and an hour for the bear to finally fall from the tree.
The bear missed the net and the violent fall from high in the tree was caught by a local TV crew reporting live from the scene.
