There are plenty of events to attend for Tattered Cover Bookstore fans this week, Denver's annual Cherry Blossom Festival, The Addams Family Musical and two last chance art galleries.

Gulf War veteran Anthony Swofford, author of Jarhead will be introducing his latest book Hotels, Hospitals, and Jails: A Memoir, and on Wednesday Pulitzer Prize winning journalist David Freed, who helped cover the 1992 riots inspired by the late Rodney King, will also visit the bookstore.

The Addams Family Broadway Musical opens this week in Denver and the Cherry Blossom Festival enters its 40th year showcasing Japanese culture this weekend, and this is the last call for glass artist Dale Chihuly's exhibit at the Foothills Art Gallery along with a gallery of Red Rocks music at the Denver Photo Gallery.
