Anjum Yaque, Fake Livery Cab Driver, Arrested After iPhone App Helps Police Find Sexual Assaulter

A New Jersey man impersonating as a livery cab driver was arrested on Sunday after allegedly sexually assaulting a 22-year old woman in the backseat of his SUV.

The victim fell asleep in the back of 38-year old Anjum Yaque's vehicle and was awoken to him allegedly groping her breasts in Sunset Park parked near the Brooklyn Army Terminal on Second Avenue.

She was able to escape and call 911 for assistance.

Police officials utilized the "Find My iPhone" app in order to to track down Yaque's whereabouts, after he fled the scene and drove to his home in Woodbridge, New Jersey with the victim's phone still in his car.

The Daily News reports Yaque was arraigned on Sunday for charges including forcible touching, assault, unlawful imprisonment, and harassment.

The Find My iPhone app has been praised as a useful, free service to help locate lost phones.
