'The Good Wife' Season 4 Guest Stars: Julianna Margulies Teases Possible Alec Baldwin Appearance And More

Alec Baldwin On 'The Good Wife'!?

"The Good Wife" is known for its guest stars and Season 4 looks like it won't be any different, according to Julianna Margulies. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Margulies said "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin wants to guest star on her CBS legal drama.

"Last night Alec Baldwin told me he wants to be on the show, so I quickly emailed [series creators and executive producers Robert and Michelle King]," Margulies said. "I get to sort of help out that way. My connection to helping the show is to say, 'What could you write for this character or that character.'"

Margulies has helped out her famous friends and fans of the show before. Matthew Perry got his recurring role after approaching the Emmy-winner at a Halloween party and telling her he'd love to be on the series.

"I said, 'If you say that, I will do something about it, so are you sure?' And he said, 'Yes, I'm sure!'" Margulies told Anderson Cooper of Perry. The actress called producers the next day and got him the role.

Other Season 4 guest stars are likely to include the return of Martha Plimpton, Michael J. Fox and the first appearance of Kalinda's ex-husband.

At the end of Season 4, Alicia Florrick (Margulies) stood by her estranged husband Peter (Chris Noth) as he announced his campaign for governor.

"I'm so intrigued by what's happening between her and her husband and how this political marriage -- 'cause that's how I see it now -- is going to go forward. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out and I'm excited to do it," she said.
