'Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp' Premiere Features Bar Argument That Triggered Lawsuit (VIDEO)

On the series premiere of "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" (Tue., 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime) viewers got an extended view of an altercation in a Los Angeles bar that took place back in September 2011.

Bristol Palin was in the bar when a man started yelling insults about her and her mother, Sarah Palin.

Their heated exchange is now reportedly the subject of litigation: TMZ reports that the man in question, Stephen Hanks, says he never signed a waiver to be on the show, and that his reputation has been damaged.

After she left the bar, Bristol sobbed on the phone to her friend Gino. "I have a ton of cameras on me, and a ton of paparazzi," she said, "and I just cannot believe this is happening right now."

Then she told her mother, "Mom, this is not fair, this is not fun."

Critics, including Entertainment Weekly, were less than enthusiastic about the series premiere of "Life's A Tripp," and in a recent interview with "Fox & Friends," Bristol indicated that she had some regrets about the way the show turned out.
