Who knew porn could be so funny?
A 56-year-old Menomonee Falls, Wis., woman is accused of attacking her husband after she found copies of The Onion -- a news satire weekly -- and another publication in his car, according to Menomonee Falls Patch.
The victim told police that his wife considers The Onion and the Shepherd Express -- an alternative weekly -- pornography and that they had fought about the papers before, Patch reports.
Rasbornik allegedly told cops that her husband was the one who attacked her but, while she was speaking with police, she kept scratching and poking herself to make injuries more apparent, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Patch.
Rasbornik was charged with one count of disorderly conduct domestic abuse.
Express news editor, Lisa Kaiser, was tightlipped about the incident when contacted by The Huffington Post.
Kaiser said she doesn't consider her publication to be pornography and, though she was aware of the story, she said her paper had no plans to cover it.
For its part, the Onion's AV Club was happy to float a possible theory on why its sister publication was tarred with the porn brush.
