Meg Ryan Home Sells For $11.1 Million (PHOTOS)

Meg's Got $11 Million Reasons To Celebrate Tonight

Rom-com queen Meg Ryan is celebrating the sale of her Bel-Air mansion, which closed Thursday at a cool $11,125,000.

Ryan has been trying to sell the home since at least 2008, reports Zillow, repeatedly listing and re-listing the property before striking gold this month.

In the end, the four year wait was worth it; the selling price was very close to her most recent asking price of $11.4 million.

The 6,877-square-foot mansion, located in the pricey Holmby Hills neighborhood, has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a guest house and a pool. The official listing describes the property as a "museum quality restoration of a classic Spanish estate" coupled with resort-like grounds. Special details include stenciled and painted wood ceilings, intricate ironwork and arched doorways.

Adam Bernhard, founder of a fashion flash-sale site called HauteLook, is the proud new owner, according to TMZ.

Ryan started out acting in TV roles likes CBS's "As The World Turns" and smaller, short-lived series. She went on to star in several popular romantic comedies, including "When Harry Met Sally...," "Sleepless In Seattle" and "You've Got Mail." Most recently, she's appeared as herself in a 2009 episode of Larry David's HBO comedy "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
