'On The Fly': 22-Year Old Man Flies Cross Country To Surprise His Grandma With Tattoo Of Her (VIDEO)

A man traveled across the country -- via Southwest of course -- on the latest episode of "On The Fly" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on TLC) to surprise his grandparents. For his 22nd birthday, he'd gotten a tattoo, and it was probably the last thing either of them would have expected.

When he arrived, he rolled up his sleeve to reveal a very familiar face. He'd gotten a very well done tattoo of his grandmother's younger face on his upper arm.

While his grandmother said the tattoo made her feel like a movie star, she did have one concern. "If he gets mad at me, what’s gonna happen?" she asked. "He’s still stuck with me."

It doesn't look like that's going to be a problem for the young man, as his adoration of his grandparents was very clear. If not by the fact he got a tattoo of her face on his body, but simply by the love and affection he showed them.

"On the Fly" airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
