If you haven't been on Twitter much yesterday or today, you may have been unaware of the "Girls" marathon -- or rather, #Girlsathon -- that HBO aired today.

At 3pm Eastern, the cable network reran all 10 episodes of the show's first season. The series, which Lena Dunham, previously of "Tiny Furniture" fame, wrote, directed, produced with Jenni Konner and Judd Apatow, and starred in with Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet, follows four women living in New York City in their early 20s as they navigate their love lives, friendships and fledgling careers, making a lot of #mistakesgirlsmake along the way.

Dunham live-tweeted the Girlsathon, and fans on Twitter chimed in with commentary throughout. Check out some of their best tweets below, and if you missed today's marathon, never fear -- as @GirlsHBO has reminded "Girls" fans on Twitter throughout the day, the marathon airs again on HBO Zone at 8pm and 1 am Eastern.
