First, not giving a tax rebate is not the same as a tax increase.
Next, waiting to see if the state can afford the rebate seems like pretty sound economics.
Finally, you can bet that if Christie got what he wanted and the NJ budget went into the red because of the rebates the Republicans would blame the deficit on the Dems during the next election.

is Christie getting bigger...you figure being busy running a state you would shed a few pounds. Maybe his chef at the NJ mansion should suggest a diet change. And how could anyone take him serious for Vice President. If he is picked i guess good health was not part of the criteria.

Guess what? This so called Christie "tax relief" will save me a whopping $60 per YEAR. Meanwhile, the 1%ers will save over $10,000 per year. It's all about the politics so Christie can say he "cut taxes" during re-election. Nothing is being done about the sky high property taxes because too many politicians (Repubs and Dems) have their hands in that cookie jar!
