Jurors Deadlocked In Bobby Ferguson Trial, Defense Wants Mistrial

Mistrial Coming In Bobby Ferguson Case?

Jurors in the Bobby Ferguson bid-rigging trial say they are deadlocked and appear to be back-tracking now by saying they are unable to reach a verdict on any charges against any defendant.

Earlier in their deliberations, jurors had indicated they wanted to issue a "partial verdict," but they were not permitted at the time to disclose what that was.

Today, U.S. District Judge David Lawson said the jury has indicated they are unable to decide on any of the charges against Ferguson, two of his business associates and the three businesses on trial. Lawson brought jurors into court and asked them to send him clarification on where they stand.
