'MasterChef': Ramsay Forces Contestant To Eliminate Himself

Christine and Josh were team leaders this week on "MasterChef" (Mon., 9 p.m. ET on Fox), and it was immediately obvious who handled it better. Christine delegated based on the strength of her teammates, while Josh basically pulled assignments out of a hat. So it was no wonder when their guests voted to give the win to Christine's team.

Three team members from the losing team were spared a very difficult pressure cooker, leaving four to produce molten lava cakes. Two of them proved themselves up to the challenge, while two who have become close in the game fell short.

So it was that friends and allies Ryan and Tali found themselves facing elimination. But here's where Gordon Ramsay did something a little differently.

"I’m going to ask that individual -- who knows who he is -- that didn’t produce a stunning molten lava cake to act on integrity and to be noble and to come up here and hand me their apron," he said.

Ultimately, Ryan silently walked up and eliminated himself from the competition.

Thirteen remain as "MasterChef" continues Mondays and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
