Spice Girls Musical, 'Viva Forever,' Better Include Our Favorite Spice Girls Fashion (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: The Fashions We're Dying To See In The Spice Girls Musical

It's time to spice up your lives, people: the Spice Girls musical is officially happening.

All five Spice Girls united on Tuesday morning at a press conference to talk up "Viva Forever," the new musical based around their music. Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) greeted press at the St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel -- where the video for "Wannabe" was filmed (nostalgia alert!) -- and told reporters that they were "delighted" with how the show's turned out.

The musical won't include any of the five Girls themselves but rather theater professionals singing their hits, à la "Mamma Mia" (in fact, the show is produced by Judy Craymer, the woman behind the ABBA megahit). But we imagine the musical, which tells the story of four friends entering their band in a TV talent competition, will include plenty of vintage Spice Girls fashion as well.

Because if we had our way, it would be platform shoes, babydoll frocks and Union Jack-themed dresses as far as the eye could see. Bring back the PVC dresses! Strap on those '90s chokers and flared stretch pants! And Posh, wipe that smile off your face.

"Viva Forever" previews from November 27 and opens December 11 at London's Piccadilly Theatre. But in case you can't wait that long (because we sure can't), here's a look back at the best Spice Girls fashion that we hope makes a reappearance. Long live girl power!
