Kristin Chenoweth Joins 'The Good Wife'

"The Good Wife" has scooped up another star: Kristin Chenoweth.

According to CBS, Chenoweth will recur during Season 4 and make her first appearance during the premiere. The frequent "Glee" guest star and former "GCB" actress will play a political reporter who will go toe-to-toe with Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Peter (Chris Noth) regarding Peter's gubernatorial campaign and the state of the Florrick's marriage.

Chenoweth will be joined by "ER" veteran Maura Tierney in Season 4. Tierney will play Maddie, an internet billionaire who comes into play with Peter's campaign. Also, Marc Warren has been cast as Kalinda's estranged -- and dangerous -- husband.

In addition to "GCB" and "Glee," Chenoweth, an Emmy and Tony winner, also starred in "Pushing Daisies"
