Christopher Stringham Allegedly Told Police He'd Molested A Child During Job Interview (VIDEO)

Man Allegedly Admits To Child Molestation During Cop Job Interview

Thank goodness he was honest.

When Christopher Stringham applied for a job with the Missouri State Highway Patrol last month, they asked him the standard set of questions. One of those questions, reports KMOV, was if he'd ever engaged in a sexual crime he could be convicted of.

The 26-year-old job applicant allegedly said yes, and told them he'd inappropriately touched a child several times. The Daily Journal reports Stringham implied the inappropriate contact was an accident each time, according to police.

Instead of landing a job, Stringham now faces 20 counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. According to the AP, the man's bond has been set at $25,000. Should he be released, he'll be ordered to wear an ankle bracelet.
