Stephenie Meyer ... J. K. Rowling ... Suzanne Collins ... Kendall and Kylie Jenner?

E! Online reports that the sisters have plans to pen a science-fiction book "set 200 years in the future," with the help of co-writer Maya Sloane, for Simon & Schuster.

Kylie also confirmed the news via Twitter:

And it sounds as if fans won't have to wait long to get their hands on the young-adult novel.

"I think we will definitely get it done with how fast [the process] is going," Kylie tells the website.

This isn't the sisters' first literary endeavor; they recently made their debut as contributors to Seventeen magazine.

The Jenners are following in the footsteps of older siblings Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, who published a roman á clef called "Dollhouse" in 2011. Harper Collins' website describes the tome as "an addictively entertaining novel about an exciting, high-profile, complicated family with a huge heart and a lot of love."

Kendall, 16, and Kylie, 14, are only the latest in a long list of celebs who've tried their hand at fiction. Take a look at Snooki, Lauren Conrad and other stars posing with their literary works in our gallery below.
