The Power Goes Out On 'The Late Late Show,' But Craig Ferguson And Lisa Kudrow Make It Work (VIDEO)

The Power Goes Out On 'The Late Late Show'

Craig Ferguson has been here before. For the second time since 2009, the power went out in his "basement" studio, and he was forced to do an even darker than usual broadcast of "The Late Late Show" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m .ET on CBS). That said, Ferguson seems to revel in these mishaps, poking fun at the situation by saying that he thought the lack of power might have been an improvement.

Guest Lisa Kudrow had fun with the power as well. "Isn’t this show owned by a huge conglomerate?" she asked. "I don’t understand!"

Luckily, Ferguson and his guests won't have to worry about it much longer. According to The Washington Post, Ferguson is scheduled to relocate his show to a new studio with better equipment -- and lighting? -- by the end of this summer.

Lisa Kudrow stars in the second season of "Web Therapy," premiering Monday at 11 p.m. ET on Showtime. "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" airs weeknights -- with or without power -- at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS.
