Adam Levine 'American Horror Story': Maroon 5 Singer Says He's Too Scared To Watch

Adam Levine 'Too Scared' To Watch 'American Horror Story'

Adam Levine, one of the stars of "American Horror Story" Season 2, has never watched the show. Levine told MTV News he's too scared to tune in to the FX drama series from Ryan Murphy.

"I'm still too scared to watch it," Levine said. "But I'm gonna try and beat my fear of really creepy, scary things like that by doing it. I think that's a good way to tackle that fear."

The first season of "American Horror Story" starred Connie Britton, Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott and Taissa Farmiga. Lange will return for Season 2, but she'll be playing a completely different character -- a nun -- alongside returning Season 1 faces Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson.

Levine told E! Online
he will play a recently married man and described the role as "gory." Other new Season 2 cast stars include James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny and Lizzie Brocheré.

Levine isn't alone in being scared of "American Horror Story." Britton revealed she never watched the series either.

"I haven't watched it all back because I'm too scared. I'm just too scared ... and I really want to," Britton told Starcam.com. "I'm going to get somebody and literally make them sit down and watch it with me from start to finish so that I cannot be so scared. I'm such a baby!"
