Feds Confirm Wisconsin Added Jobs In 2011

Wisconsin State Journal:

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Thursday confirmed Gov. Scott Walker’s assertion that Wisconsin did add jobs last year, though the modest growth leaves his critics unmoved.

The governor needs to look into this pension scam closer, teachers are not paying even close to what they should be paying into pensions, in the milwaukee js they are calling it a lie, it is a lie that its the money of the workers' that funds it, NOT TRUE , we need more investigating into this pension deal in wisconsin....tax payers in wisconsin getting hit hard again to pay for unions and teachers unions greed.

Actually the President's policies got the loss of jobs, 700,000 in one month under "W" and we've had slow but steady gains in the private sector while reducing the size of government since Mr. Obama was sworn in.

Funny thing is though, conservatives don't even talk about the Laffer Curve now, because it disproves what their claims are. Now, they want to fool people into thinking zero taxes means the epic Reagan-Bush-Bush National Debt will get paid down, instead of increased even more.

The Laffer Curve? There are still people out there who seriously cite the Laffer Curve as some kind of economic term? Even Arthur Laffer himself back in the '90s said that his curve was more a matter of "wishful thinking" than anything else, a reaction to the election of Ronald Reagan that promoted optimism without the "burden of corroboratory research." Kind of like Mitt's claim to be a businessman, when all he ever did was shove piles of money around and cram as much as possible into his pockets.

Yes by his actions, Governor Walker prevented layoffs of public sector employees and managed to lower property taxes for Wisconsin citizens and acted like the adult in the room reigning in out of control spending. Isn't that digusting.

Big tax cuts for business do not create a single job, only demand for goods or services will do that. Walkers tax cuts went straight to the bottom line of the businesses that recieved them, they won't hire a single person if that don't have a desperate need. It's this behavior that has made a bad situation much worse.

The Companies that received tax cuts are all companies that were already in WI. To the tune of $8 hundred Mil. THe same amont he stole from the Education budget and teachers salaries. they did nothing but back Walker to get those tax cuts, most didn't even ask for them.

At the height of the recession, in his last year as governor, Doyle had more jobs than Walker. We are now in a recovery and Walker did worse than Doyle, who governed at the height of the recession. Do I need to repeat that again for you righties?

From 2008-10 the unemployment rate rose to over 9% and it has been trending down since Walker took office.

School Districts across the state are now operating in the Black instead of in the Red after Walker allows the School Districts to shop around for their Health Care Providers instead of being force into purchasing it from Union Owned insurance companies. Last I heard almost 30% of the teachers have checked the box that asks " Do you want the district to stop taking union dues out of your paycheck."

WEA Trust is the name of the company that HP won't allow you to check out. They are owned by the union and had absolutely no competition before Walker. Every school district in the state was forced to use them, do you have any idea what happens to profits when a company is a sole source provider guaranteed by the government? Prices sky rocket and the tax payer has to pick up the tab. Now since you don't seem to care about what the taxpayers pay, it can only mean you are one of the 47%ers that pay nothing now and demand more services.

Take your Mommies bus pass out of her purse and take the bus to the local library and google WEA Trust. Every single district in Wisconsin was contractually obligated to purchase the teachers Health Insurance from them.
