Dario Napolitano Allegedly Kicked Son In Face At Epcot Center In Disney World

Doctor Allegedly Kicked 3-Year-Old Son In The Face

An Italian doctor is suspected of kicking his 3-year-old son in the face during an argument with his wife at Disney World's Epcot Center.

Sheriff's deputies believe Dario Napolitano kicked the child in his stroller, leaving him with "a cut below his left eye, an abrasion above his left eyebrow" and a swollen left eye, according to an arrest report obtained by The Huffington Post.

The family allegedly refused to let their son be taken to a hospital because they didn't think his injuries required further attention, the report said.

One Epcot employee told deputies they heard Napolitano's wife shouting "No, no, No!" before Napolitano kicked into the stroller that was carrying his already-crying son, according to the report.

No witness mentioned in the report directly saw Napolitano's foot hit his son's face, but the employees and tourists that police spoke to all said they saw the doctor's foot kick into the stroller.

Napolitano and his wife told a very different story to sheriff's deputies.

Both parents said their older son was running with the toddler in the stroller. When the parents yelled at their older son to stop running, he abruptly halted and the quick change in momentum caused the child to fall out of the stroller and onto the ground, causing the injuries, the release said.

Sheriff's deputies didn't buy it. Napolitano was arrested and charged with child abuse.
