Article by Richard Serrano in todays Los Angeles Times with the headline: "Four suspects sought in killing of border agent" says: "The four new defendants, all described as Mexican nationals, are said by authorities to have fled that night, leaving the two weapons behind. The weapons' discovery brought to light Fast and Furious — a secret operation in which hundreds of illegal gun sales were allowed on the border in the hopes that U.S. officials could track them to Mexican drug cartels. Instead, most were lost by agents of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives."
I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist but does anyone else think it is fishy that those two particular guns were conveniently left behind

This is all really simple.....no matter what the liberals and democRATS want to put up as a so called defense of Eric Holder. This is NOT about race or politics people..it is about You and I paying an elected offical's salary to to his job. Congress oversees the Executive Branch of Government such as the State Department, the Treasury, and of course...the Justice Department. Stop all the arguements about what went wrong or didn't. That is NOT the point. The basic issue is that (BLACK OR WHITE) Eric Holder refused to provide documents to Congress. That is wrong !!! It doesn't matter which political party you belong to. I am so sick of Democrats just trying to justify everything from a political angle.

Mr Holder needs a reality check. They held him in contempt because he was in contempt of congress. They do not need any other reason to stomp on Eric Holder.

So, the prosecutors stymied them....nothing was set up beforehand? The agents and prosecutors didn't know the gun laws federally and by state prior to setting this operation up? Is atf and the justice department that inept? An operation of this magnitude and apparently no end game. Aah, must the prosecutors fault.....gimme a break.

prosecutors told agents they can't do anything about this guns due to the law in various states. this was not ATF agent purchasing this guns and letting go into the criminal hands. this was the law handcuffing the ATF agent.

Is Mr. Holder playing the victim card now? after lying to Congress now he is just a proxy? wow ! the DOJ's highest position is sending a great example for future generations to come. It is OK to commit perjury ( only if you occupy a high rank ) if you are just another regular folk, you go to jail.

well the vote is not about the misinformation that DOJ might have provided or not provided. This about trying to force DOJ to release papers that, they are legally not allowed to release. Issa and the republicans didn't want the truth, the wanted this political stunt and vote. they are constantly looking for anything to use to shame the president. guess what, americans really don't care about it, they care the republicans congress are simply the worst ever.

Eric Holder is the proxy because he is in charge of the DOJ, which is in charge of the ATF.

There are questions that were asked, and not answered, before Holder went to the hearings. He put himself in the middle of a question that wasn't answered. "Who gave the order.....?"

Now Holder has added Obama to the mix. Why hasn't Holder been more helpful with answers?

This wasn't about Obama, but it seems to be now about Holder and Obama. Why wasn't the question answered before the hearings started? Who gave the order?
