When you watch Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman perform, it's easy to forget that she's an 18-year-old high school student who loves hanging out with her friends and chatting with her mom. She flies, flips, and twists through the air in a manner that's normally reserved for stunt doubles in action movies -- and she always sticks her landings.

Since being named to the U.S. Women's Gymnastics Olympic Team on Sunday night, Aly has appeared in a series of videos from Yahoo! Sports' Elite Athlete Workouts, featuring short episodes that take fans behind-the-scenes of her daily life, both in and out of the gym. She explains how she blocks out fear while competing and talks about her bond with Olympic veteran and training partner Alicia Sacramone.
