It's been a long, wild ride for the boys of One Direction and their devoted American fans these past few months. But all good things must come to an end, and on Sunday night at their final U.S. tour stop in Fort Lauderdale, Directioners said goodbye to the British boys.
A touching video of the guys -- who are now headed back to Europe -- taking their final bow and parting ways with their fans in Florida was been posted to YouTube yesterday and quickly swept Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.
The debut American tour has been a milestone experience for the group, who received Beatles-levels of fan hysteria wherever they went. As Niall Horan told MTV News, "If you had said to us a year ago that we were gonna be touring America, we would have fell on the ground laughing at ya."
The boys are heading back to Britain to work on their second album (rumor has it that they might even be finished by August!). And of course, a worldwide tour is in the works for 2013.
Check out the video above to see the emotional for yourself! But beware of this disclaimer from a YouTube commenter: "*WARNING* YOU WILL CRY."
