Alan Thicke Flirts On The 'Duets' Set: Host Calls Him An 'Original Gangster' On 'Good Day LA' (VIDEO)

Alan Thicke Flirts On The 'Duets' Set

TV Legend Alan Thicke, the father of Robin, a judge on ABC's latest reality TV competition "Duets" (Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC), stopped by the set recently and made quite the impression.

Alan Thicke, former "Growing Pains" star and talk show and game show host, stopped by the set of "Duets" last week and the show's host Quddus told "Good Day LA" (weekdays at 7 a.m. ET on Fox in Los Angeles) he was impressed by his moves with the ladies.

"He came into the make-up room, flirted with Jennifer Nettles and Kelly Clarkson," Quddus recalled. "I'm like, 'This is an OG. An 'Original Gangster' up in this place.'"

Robin had similar things to say about his dad before "Duets" launched. "He's pretty much always been giving me little tips here and there. He tells me to get my charm and my game together. He pretty much leads by example. He's Mr. Smooth and Mr. Cool. He's bulletproof, so I just learn by watching him," Thicke told HuffPost TV in May. "He played the silly dad! But in real life, he's Mr. Cool. He's Clark Gable."

On "Duets," judges Thicke, Kelly Clarkson, Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and John Legend each have a team of contestants who they perform with on stage. The judges also rank each other's performances.

Tune in to "Duets" on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
