'Hoarding: Buried Alive' Exclusive: An Elvis Impersonator's Memorabilia Collection Takes Over (VIDEO)

Elvis Fan Goes Too Far On 'Hoarding: Buried Alive'

We've seen a lot of very emotional moments on TLC's "Hoarding: Buried Alive," but this next new episode (Sun., July 8, 9 p.m. ET) might be one of the saddest.

Meet Cary, a 51-year-old Elvis impersonator with a very dark secret: He's not just an Elvis memorabilia collector, he's obsessive. He compulsively hoards to the point that every square inch of his New York City-area apartment has been taken over.

"I don't think you'd ever think in a million years that I would be like this," Cary, a former teacher now on disability, says. "I didn't think in a million years I'd be like this either."

In our exclusive sneak peek, watch as Cary shaves and dyes his beard meticulously to look like the King, all while singing "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" Cary then tells the tale of how he found himself surrounded by filth, piles and piles of razors and walls papered with Elvis newspaper clippings.

When his friends give him an ultimatum, can he overcome his crippling fear and let go of his collections?
