Mayor Dave Bing said today he hopes for a speedy resolution to the legal challenge lodged by the city's top lawyer, a day after she filed a motion to continue her fight.
"It is my hope that the court rules swiftly on the motion and that the corporation counsel abandons the lawsuit," Bing said of Krystal Crittendon, who on Thursday asked an Ingham County judge to reconsider his June 13 decision that tossed out her legal challenge to the city's financial stability agreement with the state.
