Attempted Robbery Outside 7-11 In Ferndale

OUTSIDE DETROIT -- Police say no one was hurt after a man with an assault rifle fired up to 10 shots at two people outside the 7-Eleven at Nine Mile and Pinecrest in Ferndale, MI.

Ferndale Police are investigating the incident that occurred around 2:40 a.m. Sunday.

Ferndale Police Lt. Casey O'Loughlin said two men approached the 7-Eleven but found the doors locked. One was wearing a Halloween mask and armed with an assault rifle.
