'Ice Road Truckers': Jack Jessee Faces A Serious Skid, But Is It Enough To Make Him Quit? (VIDEO)

'Ice Road Truckers': What Would Make A Veteran Want To Quit?

Jack Jessee may be one of the respected veterans of "Ice Road Truckers" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on History), but are all the accolades from his peers going to his head? Huliq think so, writing, "This year ... Jessee has been as arrogant as anyone who has ever been on 'IRT.'"

Jessee's ego certainly took a hit after his rig skid on the icy roads. His expertise helped him regain control, but he may be finding himself getting overshadowed by a young upstart. Austin is younger and more ambitious, but rather than offer him guidance, Jessee has simply dismissed him.

Austin seems to be doing alright for himself, this week scoring the biggest load of the season. Meanwhile, after arriving safely with that load, Jessee wasn't given another load for the next day at all. It was all too much for him, and he took it personally and declared he was out for good.

See if he truly is through when "Ice Road Truckers" continues Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on History.
