We'll be treated to another dose of Walter White on the Season 5 premiere of "Breaking Bad" this Sunday (airing at 10 p.m. ET on AMC).
While the name Bryan Cranston conjures up an image of a bald guy in a button down shirt who quietly cooks meth, Cranston has an entire crew who transforms him into Walt.
In an appearance on Albuquerque's "The After After Party" with Steven Michael Quezada (who plays Gomez on the show), Cranston brought in his crew to showcase his transformation.
"I likedto look different when I'm not shooting the show," Cranston explained. "But when I go to work, the transition happens, and I instantly become Walter White."
Physically altering himself isn't all Cranston has to do to get into character. In an interview with HuffPost UK, he explained his process for staying on track.
"If I need to stay in [a dark place] for the episode or for any given shot, I will sequester myself so that I am not around a lot of chatter, and that sort of thing, so I can come in and just focus."
Season 5 of "Breaking Bad" premieres on Sunday, July 15 at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
