President Obama was in the Quad Cities the other day and did an interview. He talked about the Rock Island Arsenal (Military facility) and how he spent "alot of time on the Arsenal" when he was in Illinois. I have lived here for a long time and can remember 2 campaign stops he made where he toured the Arsenal and then left..... Apparently his notion of alot of time is similar to his notion of what makes a homey....

Thank you! How is it that a man with as good an education as Barack Obama believes the nationalist garbage we're fed in primary school? Lincoln was not a hero, although hist actions did ultimately lead to a better world, paid for at a terrible price.

Aww, take it straight-up with no chaser that President Obama saved the economy from falling off a cliff, got bin laden, created over 4 million jobs, 27 months of straight job growth, got millions of people healthcare, people can't be denied healthcare for pre-existing conditions, young people can stay on their parents insurance without going bankrupt, saved the auto industry and suppliers jobs, tens of thousands of homeless vets into homes, saved seniors an average of $581 a year in prescriptions closing the donut hole, started Jan. 2012 where health insurances must do 80% of preventive care and can make only 20% in reasonable cost in profits or the insurers get a rebate check, got Daffy, got the auto industry to change mpg from 27.5 to 35.5 by 2015 and to 54.5 mpg by 2025, eliminating the middle man (the banks) who was charging fees for student loans by the government now saving $30 billion, ending that lie war Iraq. ending DADT, tax cuts and tax credits for the middle class, the payroll tax cut, the consumers protection agency from the financial reform.

did he say, how many JOBS lost???? BO added gov't jobs at 10 times MORE than Reagan did, the latest repts. yet, unemployments is above 8%,, OVER 26% younger US citizen do not have jobs, and his helping illegals to compete with,,, over 50% of black younger people don't have job either,,47 nmillions on food stamps,,,lowest housing ownerships since 1955...National debt's above $$16 trillions and pro=rates to $25 Trillions under BO...hummmmm!!!!

In my opinion, President Abraham Lincoln was one of the finest Presidents this nation ever produced.

No one in politics today even comes close to his integrity or innate wisdom.

I doubt he would look kindly on ANY politician of today.

In order to get the money to run a successful campaign, they all pander to the rich and corporate interests for campaign cash, and that money comes with a price.

A price the American people end up paying.

I sincerely wish I could live long enough for this country to eliminate it's "legalized bribery as a means of financing political campaigns" and finally embrace publicly financed elections and the complete elimination of all outside "special interests" influence.

I doubt I will live that long. Right now it sure likes things are getting worse, not better.
