Evan Rachel Wood Nose Piercing Caught On Tape (VIDEO)

All ye who are squeamish, avert thine eyes.

At least that's the warning Evan Rachel Wood gave when she tweeted out a video of her nose piercing out to the world. On Tuesday the actress tweeted, "I may or may not have just gotten my nose pierced again... And i may or may not have video....you see where this is going?"

She followed it up, of course, with a link to a Youtube clip, a thank you to "Victor" at "House of Ink" for doing the job and a disclaimer: "I must warn you, do not watch that last video if you are squeamish."

We actually are (this writer doesn't have her own ears pierced) but we bravely watched anyway. Because, well, how could we not? Also, we sort of expected it to be as funny as this video of Ashley Tisdale getting her ears pierced.

Alas, it was not. But we're still fans of Evan Rachel's new accessory, which fits her edgy yet elegant style well.

Evan is a bit eccentric and out there with some of her choices, with the most egregious one being dating Marylin Manson. All that being said, I think she's a fabulous actor. She's very talented and has a way to captivate you. Personally, I cannot stop looking at her when she's on screen. And it's not only because she is physically beautiful. Her talent shines thru. I always root for her. I could care less if she's a bit cooky. I'd just like to see her stay out of trouble and continue putting out good work.

I have no idea why anyone makes such a big deal out of piercings. I have a total of 22, and plan on 3 more after the swimming season (because chlorine is not good for newly pierced skin).

And for all of those people who think it is about self esteem or a low IQ, I LOVE who I am. I think I am beautiful inside and out. And I am a member of MENSA.

So my message to the judgmental people...judge not lest ye be judged.

Those that look down on people with body modifications need to just stop. We do not do this for you, we do it for us. We do not care what you do to your body and do not understand why you care what we do to ours. Body piercings and tattoos are not a sign of low intelligence, many of my friends with high IQ's have body modifications. Some of the dumbest people I ever met have no body modifications.

I started my church because I was tired of people judging others. I believe we should all have the Freedom to be who we want to be. We should all come to Accept others for who they are, then one day we can Love each other as brothers and sisters.

The Universal Church of Freedom, Acceptance and Love accepts all and judges none.

It really too bad that sooo many very pretty gals get, and are getting, piercings and tattoos. Do they really have such a low opinion of themselves? Some think it's cool. I don't. Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but that stuff should be for more homely guys and gals. I guess that’s the “hollywood” way. More like a “Vegas” way to me. Just my opinion.

...Which is why I stated that it was just my opinion and not like a broken law or anything. My first son, daughter and both daughter-in-laws have tattoos and my daughter had a couple piercing also. She also lost a $250,000 a year modeling contract because of them, which she regrets at this point. I’m not a nudist or anything; I just think that the human body is beautiful as is. I think that people get these "enhancements" to fit in or be cool. Therefore the judgment of low self esteem because they don’t think that they can “fit in” without them. To me, it's a “money making scam or gimmick” and can have negative "side effects" in some cases. So far, even in the military, I’ve never met anyone who attained anything different than they could have without them, except the tattoo artists themselves. It isn’t art except to the tattoo artist, and it doesn’t make anyone “cooler” or better in any way. I’ve met a great many people who, now that they’ve “grown up”, wish that they hadn’t done it and could get rid of them without a lot of scaring. While I'm at it, I'm also against recreational drugs, sex outside of marriage, getting drunk, rap and heavy metal type and real loud music of any kind, modern day unions, and today’s democrat party. Just my opinion.

It's a personal choice, it has nothing to do with their "low opinion of themselves" or being "cool". I have a couple of piercings because I like them and when I don't anymore I can take them out. Not really that big of a deal and not doing it because I don't like myself. lol

We all make our own decisions. I told "allisoninwonderland" who complained of my choice, that it is just my opinion. I've been around for awhile and I've seen the scars. I've heard the complaints from many about their piercing’s and tattoos. I guess “ aren't well adjusted” is better than “low self esteem”. One young woman that was with us for years had her nose done. Her dog got a hold of it while they were playing. It's left a nasty scar. She now covers her face or looks down when she talks. It's very distracting. She doesn't have the money for a plastic surgeon. There's been many others, most with tattoos like my daughter and many older people who say, “I was and young and stupid or just trying to be cool”, or "if they’d known back then what they know now...” Others seem to be okay with it and that's ok. I worked for several years with a guy who had several piercings and hair that was purple and red with streaks of yellow. He was a good workman. The company finally told him he was making the customers uncomfortable and to discontinue the enhancements or he be fired. He chose to keep the enhancements. Later I ran into him. He had given them all up anyway because no one would hire him at close to the money he was earning at our place of employment. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.
