From Bob Kane To Christopher Nolan, 70 Years Of Batman

Batman has come a long way in the last 70 years. The iconic masked vigilante has been moonlighting as Gotham City's savior for seven decades, and he's seen a lot of changes since his creation in 1939. Throughout the years, he's had many different looks, and thankfully, writer Blair Erickson has captured all of them in one very informative timeline.

Tim Burton first helmed the Batman movie franchise in 1989. He was followed by Joel Schumacher's 1995 reboot and Christopher Nolan's critically acclaimed "Dark Knight" franchise, which started in 2005 Remember when George Clooney was Batman? That's just an era that we'd rather forget. If Nick@Nite wants to start replaying old episodes of "Batman," however, we're totally down.
