'Coming Home': Daughter Gets 'The Best Surprise Ever!'

Matt Rogers and the "Coming Home" (Wed., 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime) team staged a surprise family reunion in Watertown, New York Wednesday night.

Unbeknownst to his wife and kids, Staff Sergeant Rob Rivera, of the 10th Mountain Division, was in the audience at Watertown High School, and he was ready to surprise his wife and kids.

Rivera had been deployed in Afghanistan for a year and his children had both written a message to their dad, which they read aloud on-stage as part of a tribute to the Division.

Nine-year-old Madison brought many to tears when she said, "Half my heart is with him in Afghanistan." When Matt Rogers introduced Rivera, he rushed the stage to hug his elated family.

An overjoyed Madison said, "It was the best surprise ever! I will always remember it. For the rest of my entire life."
