Pee-Wee Herman Overdubs 'The Dark Knight Rises' Trailer (VIDEO)

"I know you are, but what am I?" -Batman

Christopher Nolan's "Batman" films have attracted a strange amount of attention for something most movies don't -- dialogue mixing. In the last film, much was made of Christian Bale's Batman growl, and Bane's muffled voice heard in the trailers has sparked controversy.

But there's one man who can fix these problems: Pee-Wee Herman.

Paul Reubens appeared on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" as himself on Wednesday, but broke out the Pee-Wee character for one important task. We're treated to the "Dark Knight Rises" trailer with Pee-Wee Herman providing all the voices, is definitely the best version of the trailer we could imagine.

Watching Morgan Freeman's lips move with Pee-Wee's voice come out is one of the most unexpectedly delightful things we've seen in a while.

As a side note, this isn't Reuben's first foray into "Batman" -- he played the Penguin's father twenty years ago in Tim Burton's "Batman Returns."
