Baby Sings, Falls Asleep To Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters' (VIDEO)

WATCH: This Very Untraditional Lullaby Works!

Some parents sing about treetops and mocking birds, but all this baby needs is a good Metallica ballad at bedtime.

Cozied up among cushions and blankets, the adorable baby coos along to the band's hit tune "Nothing Else Matters," as a man, presumably the father, plays the chords on his guitar.

Before long, the tiny tot surrenders to heavy eyelids and falls into a deep slumber, likely to dream about concerts and rockstars.

The video, which was uploaded in 2010, recently started making its way around the Web with mentions on sites like BuzzFeed and Viral Viral Videos.

But this musical dad isn't the only parent to use toned down versions of rock songs to make bedtime more palatable.

Baby Rock Records makes CD's with lullaby renditions of tunes from bands like Foo Fighters, Green Day, Nine Inch Nails and, yes, even Metallica.

However, one youngster prefers heavy metal in its original state.

A 2008 clip featured a baby girl who would only stop crying when Metallica played through her dad's phone.

And if there are no Metallica tunes within reach, one mom jokingly suggests a rather untraditional method for soothing a crying baby: singing lullabies laced with dirty words.

Amalah blogger, Amy, recently poked fun at handling a 3 a.m. wake-up call from baby with a hilarious diagram that was featured on HuffPost Parents' Facebook wall.
