Why are millions so fascinated, often even seduced, by people whose behavior actually points to pathology like WEST ? Maybe the people are wired to be attracted by psychopaths, sociopaths, narcissists, people so focused on their own central role in whatever takes place that they are sucked into the pathological reality.
Begin by imagining a complete lack of empathy, one of the tell-tale signs of the psychopath when West calls Soc Sec slavery. .
Psychopaths have very shallow emotions but often are superficially charming to the minds of some...and often have an intelligence higher than the average individual.

Allen West is the worst! He didn't even live in his own district but lived where I live in FL20 represented by Debbie Wasserman-Schultz where he could never win. He continually rails against her in his anti-semetic teabagger rants. Small wonder he was drummed out of the Army for prisoner abuse. He now is running in yet another district since he can't ever get re-elected where he is now. His dream seems to be to become the first Grand Dragon/Imperial Wizard of color.

As a retired Military man, I believe West really needs some type of help. Whether it's battle fatigue or what, he does not make any sense. I understand that he is bitter towards the Military, because it appears he was never identified as FAST TRACK material, for advance promotion, and career advancement further up the ranks! In a strange way it seems the Iraq War saved him, from probably from the inevitable, by him getting an early discharge. All the red flags appear to be there, and I just hope he receives help. Bottom line, is if someone, displays this behavior continually, we know how it will end! Please help someone, who obviously needs help!

West actually was saved from a Courts Martial because of the military trecord of his family, including himself. WS is correct about Westbeing "Unhinged....". That is what got him in hot water in the US Army. West was allowed to resign his comission rather than face a Courts Martial. The guy is not a war hero and should never be thought of in the same light as one.

West is in a desperate fight for his short political career. his own party drew boundaries that were not favourable at all. He has to now appeal to the extreme fringe elments by making as much noise as possible and coming across as radical as possible.

As a native Floridian who lived over 40 years in the Tampa area I reject that remark...the problem aside from the "Deep South" pockets of the Panhandle and northern interior areas has been brought on by retirees and transplants from other areas who come to Florida and expect to have everything for nothing
