Donald Trump: Anthony Weiner Is A 'Sexual Pervert' Who 'Can Never Be Healed'

Donald Trump Unloads On 'Sexual Pervert' Anthony Weiner

Billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump on Monday attempted to torch recent reports that disgraced Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) could be planning a return to politics with a run for New York City mayor.

Weiner is "a sexual pervert & they can never be healed," Trump tweeted, before giving some advice to Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin. "Huma should drop him before it happens again."

Trump later continued his Twitter offensive, claiming that Weiner would "never be mayor" and saying that the Democrat, unlike former President Bill Clinton, wouldn't be able to rebound from his scandal with a tell-all interview because he was a "sick puppy."

Abedin, an aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has reportedly been pushing Weiner to reenter the limelight with a primetime interview. The former congressman has denied these claims.

Weiner's political career came to an unceremonious end last summer when it was revealed that he had been engaged in online relationships with a number of women. The revelations were prompted by an incident in which Weiner accidentally tweeted a picture of his crotch, presumably intended for one recipient, to all his followers.

Trump and Weiner had publicly butted heads long before the controversy that led to the lawmaker's downfall. In a high-profile encounter on CNN, the two New Yorkers exchanged jabs about their political ambitions. At the time, Trump was flirting with a presidential run and the media was floating reports of Weiner's supposed aspirations of being mayor of the Big Apple.

Of course, Trump ramped up that rhetoric in the wake of the scandal, calling Weiner a "psycho" who "should never ever be allowed to run for office again."
