The true fundraising prowess of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has reached a new milestone: $300 million.
According to The Hill, Pelosi's records show that she's raised a total of $300.9 million for the Democratic Party in the decade between 2002 and 2012. That includes the $56.5 million she's raked in for House Democrats during the current election cycle.
Pelosi's industriousness in the arena of fundraising is undeniable. NPR reported earlier this year that she attended 400 fundraisers in 2011, at which she regularly managed to pull in around $300,000 over the course of a few hours.
While it may be hard to pinpoint the exact source of Pelosi's moneymaking skill, events such as a June fundraiser with rapper and icon of the early 90s M.C. Hammer probably don't hurt. Probably.
