Goshdarnit, it's not like, I'm fishin for an invitation dogonnit, much like those salmon and other gill-bearing reptiles that make up our Alaskan natural resources that we enjoy killin as a family as part of the real American traditions that my husband and children do so enjoy together during our normal lives, but youbetcha it would be a nice sign if Mitt Romney, tossed me a fishbone, whereas because I have spoken about him and of him on those many occasions when I am asked to import my knowledge base onto the Hannity and Greta van Nostrum FOX news shows where I have my own big chair when time allows, (and when my One Notion Bus tour schedule permits me to stop into those magnificent studios and so called 'green screens' across this great nation) to speak about the dangerous and foreign customs that Brak Obaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaama's doin up there in those Washington establishments full of his foreign and scary rituals with those cronies capitilizin on the lamestream media's gotcha journalism death panels which we do not affix to, as our forefathers would not have affixed either, had they not been long dead before this, lo those many years ago across and six feet under this great nation which we must take back and uphold for, in their memory and for the sacred future that we must preserve.

Palin has clearly established herself as a rookie celebrity, and NOT a politician of substance. On those credentials, she rates a spot at the Republican convention. A Republican politician of substance does not appear to exist at this time - Condoleeza Rice looks like she's ready to permanently toss her meager 'substance' credentials into the trash if she even considers working for the Romney administration.

I think she should not only be invited, but I think she should be allowed to speak. And Joe the Plumber. And Christine "I am not a witch" O'Donnell. And Orly Taitz. And Glen Beck. And Victoria Jackson. And they can hold the convention in one big sideshow tent.

Once again, Romney's being pulled in two different directions. And there's nothing he can do about it.

Swing voters are absolutely crucial for him! No Republican presidential candidate can be elected without them. Their political base isn't large enough. So Romney is trying to win them over.

But by not inviting Palin he runs the risk of alienating his base. And some of them *will* stay at home and refuse to vote for him if he makes them angry enough? Do you doubt it? Just look at how self-destrictive their policies are!

They make a habit of doing things that aren't in their own best interest.

You're right! And that's the problem. The irony is that REPUBLICANS are making this problem for him! Not Democrats. If the GOP really had a big tent, Romney wouldn't be having any problems right now. Or he wouldn't be having as many.

Palin is has become irrelevant on the national level and is slowly but surely becoming irrelevant with many in her party. She has Tea Party support but they too will be irrelevant when their seats come up for reelection. The non Tea Party republicans don't care for them anyway. They think by hiding that there is a problem between them and coming together to beat the President, that the future will be bright but the power struggle will continue and rip them further apart than they already are.

Imagine a man that is accustomed to being the boss, making the executive decisions, giving the rogue a speaking spot at his convention. If he does, he will regret every day for the rest of his life!

I'd love to see it, she would sink him for sure, with the very voting block he needs...independents in the middle!
