Randy George Scott Allegedly Caught Going 186 MPH On Motorcycle (VIDEO)

WATCH: Canadian Speed Demon Going 186 MPH on Motorcycle

Authorities in Canada are trying to locate a 25-year-old man who allegedly filmed himself during a dangerous high-speed motorcycle ride on the Trans-Canada highway.

Randy George Scott of Victoria is being sought on a single count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Scott's whereabouts are presently unknown, police said.

Police filed the charge last week, after they obtained a copy of a video shot in April that allegedly shows Scott operating a Yamaha MC in a reckless manner with speeds up to 186 MPH.

"The driving behavior displayed on the video is extremely dangerous. The rider is seen to be weaving in and out of traffic and travelling up the lane dividing line," the Saanich Police Department said in a press release.

"At those speeds, with an excellent reaction time of 1 second, the bike would travel hundreds of meters before the rider could make a steering correction or hit the brakes," the release continued.

The speed limit along the stretch of highway where the two-minute film was shot is 50 MPH.

In an interview with The Saanich News, Saanich police Sgt. Dean Jantzen said it is likely Scott was driving the motorcycle in excess of 186 MPH -- the maximum speed the digital speedometer is capable of showing.

"This is an egregious driving incident," Jantzen said.

The Saanich Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Scott to contact them at 250-475-4321.
