'World's Wildest Police Videos': Man Steals School Bus, Leads Police On High-Speed Chase (VIDEO)

High-Speed School Bus Chase On 'World's Wildest Police Videos'

While a school bus might not be the first choice of most would-be carjackers, it proved a formidable vehicle for law enforcement to stop on "World's Wildest Police Videos" (Mon., 11 p.m. ET on Spike).

A 27-year old man stole the thankfully-empty bus in Albuquerque, New Mexico and it proved almost unstoppable. He drove over spikes in the road, and kept cruising along even as he lost all the rubber on the front tires.

Police cruisers were ineffective in stopping the bus, so they brought in an SUV. With a solid hit to the side rear of the bus, the SUV was able to put it into an uncontrolled spin. The bus ultimately crashed into a wall, turned around, and came to a stop. This allowed officers to arrest the driver on charges of reckless driving and theft. At least those charges!

Catch all the craziness every Monday on "World's Wildest Police Videos" at 11 p.m. ET on Spike.
