Anthony Bourdain In Chicago For 'The Layover': Where TV Host Drank, Dined (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Where Bourdain Sipped, Supped During Chicago 'Layover'

Chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain returned to Chicago this week to film an upcoming episode of his Travel Channel series "The Layover."

Some three years since the "No Reservations" host shined a light on the Second City's culinary scene, Bourdain has selected a fresh crop of eateries and watering holes, including some foodie-approved, high-buzz spots for an episode set to air later this year.

One spot missing from the mix is Budacki's Drive In. As Eater Chicago reports, Bourdain was not impressed when the walk-up stand invited diners to participate in the filming while enjoying $1 hot dogs and the production cancelled the shoot.

Scroll down to check out some of the spots that managed to make Bourdain's hot list. Do you approve of his picks?
