Larry King appeared on NBC's "Today" show on Thursday to plug his new show "Larry King Now."

King took his new show to Hulu and Hulu plus. After officially parting ways with CNN in February, King singed on with Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim's Ora.tv. The first episode of the show, an interview with "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, was made immediately available on Hulu in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

King took a moment to discuss his CNN successor, Piers Morgan. King said that he watches "Piers Morgan Tonight." When asked if he liked the show, King said, "I like a lot of it. It's not my style, but I like Piers." He added that he wants CNN to do well. CNN has experienced record low ratings this years, hitting a 20-year low in prime time.

King also shared that he was motivated to return to the interviewer chair when Osama bin Laden was killed. "I'm watching this, and I wanted to jump up, and go to the studio, and interview the head of the CIA and the Department of Defense, and [ask] what happened at that table, how did the president do that—and I wasn't doing that," King said.

King also shared his interviewer pet peeves. "The things I hate the most in interviews are, when an interviewer said, 'I was wondering.' No kidding!" King said.
