Bob Dylan At Barclays Center In Brooklyn: Legendary Singer Plans Concert

Bob Dylan & Jay-Z Have Something In Common

Bob Dylan is taking a page out of Hova's book: He's headed to Brooklyn this fall.

The legendary folk rocker is one of the musical acts inaugurating the new Barclays Center, the new home of the Brooklyn Nets. Jay-Z is scheduled to christen the venue with a series of concerts beginning Sept. 28; Dylan is set to take the stage on Nov. 21., and according to The Star-Ledger, tickets are scheduled to go on sale Sept. 14.

In other news, Dylan has set his new album, Tempest, for release on Sept. 11.

As previously reported, Tempest, Dylan's 35th studio release, is the singer's first album since 2009's Christmas In The Heart. Its release coincides with the 50th anniversary of Dylan's debut, Bob Dylan, which arrived in record stores on March 19, 1962. That set featured only two Dylan originals, "Song to Woody" and "Talkin' New York." Tempest is produced by Jack Frost, the pseudonym Dylan adopted in the 2000s to produce his records.

Earlier this year, the legendary singer received the Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama at a ceremony in the White House. The Medal of Freedom is the nation's highest civilian honor.
