Anna Gunn Talks 'Breaking Bad,' Emmy Nod

Will Skyler Make It Out Of 'Breaking Bad' Alive?

Will Skyler see the end of "Breaking Bad"? Anna Gunn is skeptical.

"It wouldn’t surprise me if she didn’t make it out," Gunn, who earned her first Emmy nod for her portrayal of Skyler White, told TVLine. "It wouldn’t surprise me if she did somehow rise above it. Like I say, you can never predict where they’re going to take these characters, and I’m as fascinated as anybody to find out!"

While "Breaking Bad" has seen a great deal of critical success, series creator Vince Gilligan recently admitted that he almost didn't go through with it thanks to another show about drugs in the suburbs.

"If I had known of 'Weeds' weeks or even days prior to that meeting, it’s likely I wouldn’t have had the will to go on," he wrote in Newsweek. "I would have said to myself (and I’ve said this a lot), 'Damn! All the good ideas are already taken!'"

"Breaking Bad" airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on AMC
