AJ Boik: Teens Set Up Facebook Page For High School Grad Who Died In Batman Massacre, Post Videos Of Him

Teens Remember AJ Boik, Recent High School Grad Who Died After Batman Massacre

Alexander J. Boik was an 18-year-old recent high school graduate and future student at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Following his death in the Aurora, Colo. "Dark Knight Rises" massacre, teens who knew him set up a Facebook page to commemorate his life.

Known as "AJ," the teenager is described as someone who "didn't hold anything back," Boik's friend, Jordan Crofter, told the Associated Press. "He wanted everybody to be happy."

In a statement, Boik's family said they want to focus on his life, not his death.

"We want to try and focus on the beautiful lives that were ended and not the evil that is responsible," the family said, noting Boik's girlfriend was with him at the theater and survived the attack.

On the Facebook page, teens are posting videos of their friend as well as sharing their condolences to his family and those who knew him.
