Sofia Vergara To Guest Star In 'Family Guy' And 'The Cleveland Show'

'Modern Family' Star Joins A New 'Family'

The good news just keeps on coming for Sofia Vergara.

After having the best week ever last week (she celebrated her 40th birthday in style, got engaged, earned her third consecutive Emmy nomination AND was named the highest paid actress on television), Sofia is enjoying another great start to this week as well.

EW.com is reporting that the "Modern Family" star has been tapped to guest star as Peter Griffin's fantasy love interest on an upcoming episode of the hit comedy, "Family Guy." In a cutaway gag featuring Peter as a telenovela lothario (those gags are ALWAYS funny, aren't they?), Vergara will voice his sassy lover. In the same episode, the talented comedienne will also play a woman selling roses in a restaurant where Quagmire is "wooing" Peter so that Peter will do him a big favor.

"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane must be a big Sofia Vergara fan, because the show's creator is also starring the Colombian star on his other FOX comedy, "The Cleveland Show," where she'll be playing a woman who tries to convince Cleveland to host a quinceañera for his son's 15th birthday,

Quinceaneras? Telenovelas? We can't wait to watch Sofia bring some much-needed Latin flavor to both shows!

"Family Guy's" 11th season premieres September 30th, while "The Cleveland Show" premieres on October 7th.
