Fred Willard Jokes About Arrest: Actor Says Porn Movie Was A 'Lousy Film'

Fred Willard Says Porn Movie Was A 'Lousy Film'

Even after allegedly getting caught with his pants down, Fred Willard still has his sense of humor.

The 72-year-old actor and comedian was arrested on suspicion of committing a lewd act while inside a Hollywood adult theater on Wednesday, and subsequently lost his job as narrator of the PBS series "Market Warriors."

But getting canned wasn't even the worst part of his ordeal, as Willard joked on Twitter on Monday that the X-rated movie was a "lousy film."

The comedian is free to joke as much as he wants, now that he's learned he won't be prosecuted for lewd conduct after a police officer allegedly spotted him with his "penis exposed and in his hand."

According to the Los Angeles Times, Willard will avoid a criminal trial provided he completes a $380 diversion program run by a private vendor, which may include sessions on decision-making and sex-related crimes.

More good news for Willard -- he may have lost his PBS gig, but on Monday he also pointed out that he still has his job on the ABC series "Trust Us With Your Life."
