Jipsy's Front Row View, Sunday: Horrible Fashion, Great Shoes, And A Broken Heart (PHOTOS)

There is a void in my heart from having had over-napped Sunday afternoon. Waking up as the Red Carter show was taking place made me cry right on the spot. I knew about the feathers, I knew about over the top presentation, I was ready -- but my alarm rang and I was so beat, I never heard it.

In between, I had brunch with designer A. Z. Araujo who will be presenting tonight at Nikki Beach. He debuted his new flip flops and talked about tonight’s show: “I am ready, can’t wait till you see it!” shared the Brazilian. But that was all he was giving up.

So off to the tents still I went, broken hearted about Red but ready to see what the designers had brewing for Sunday nights' presentations at the IMG shows. First show was L*Space, where I fell in love with bronze-skinned models who debuted MAIO by designer Monica Wise. Stylist Yvette Charlton created the looks and used Skova jewelry that was specially created for the show.

We got a sneak peak at the Luli Fama show backstage, but a little too early as the models sat in the makeup chairs with the Make Up Forever team brushing away at their faces. I spotted the famed and very talented makeup artist Lottie in action. (These are my kind of celebrities.)

At White Sands, the collection was adorable. I spotted several buyers in the seats, jotting down notes. I just love the way the Oasis tent looks. Every show is just gorgeous there.

With so many offsite shows and parties, I decided to head to SLS for the Vogue Italy party where I finally sat down and worked some post-show reviews from the phone. While enjoying my tuna tartar and bubbly, my cell alarm reminded me I was RSVP’d for the Oakley show right there at Hyde Beach in SLS.

The Oakley 2013 Women’s Swim Collection was hosted by Trimera Group. The models were a mix of swim models and actual athletes, like Jess Gysin and Erica Hosseini. Front row sat Nick Cannon who was mobbed by guests and the paparazzi, but the "America's Got Talent" host smiled for every picture. The collection was classic Oakley cuts and new striped fabrics and colors for 2013 -- and, naturally the latest in eyewear by the brand.

Finally, the penthouse presentation of Rose by Vanessa Jean was a bit chaotic. When we arrived the presentation had not yet started, but when it did, my eyes went straight down to the feet. The shoes really overshadowed the swimsuits; you can see some images in the gallery.

As for the collection, it was something not to see. I can’t believe designer Vanessa Simmons, niece of Russell Simmons, put her stamp of approval on a collection that seemed like a summer camp DYI project. Loved the shoes for editorial, but overall, this was not good at all. Let me know what you think.

Day five has started, the final day for swim shows. Happy Swimming and can’t wait to hear from you.
