'MasterChef' Renewed For Season 4

'MasterChef' Will Be Back For Fourths

Fox has announced that it has ordered a fourth helping of Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot's "MasterChef."

'MasterChef's" renewal is good news for Ramsay, who serves as an executive producer and judge on the show. “We’re excited to be back for another season of MasterChef,” Ramsay said in a statement. “I am continually amazed by the raw talent, passion and creativity of home cooks across America. The contestants raise the bar every season, and it’s an inspiration and exciting challenge for us.”

"MasterChef" Season 3's highlights have included a blind contestant , a double elimination, a challenge with Marines and a challenge using organs.

Bastianich told HuffPost TV that the level of competition was upped in Season 3. "The challenges are more intense, and we definitely threw a lot more curveballs at them," he said. "Three seasons into it, just when they were expecting X, they get Y. The level's a lot higher -- there are some really good cooks."

Who knows what kind of challenges will be served up in Season 4.

The "Masterchef" Season 3 finale airs Tuesday, September 4 from at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
